A stream 

A stream is a small drainage basin [35]. These are smaller than the rivers and diverge 
from the rivers. Many creeks merge to form a river. Studies of streams and waterways in 
general are interrelated with the interdisciplinary fields of natural sciences and engineering.
Rainfall in the forests forms a stream. The snow also melts and turns into a stream. 
Various animals and birds live in the creek. Streams play an important role in the water cycle.
 These increase the ground water and help the forest to flourish and its fertility.
